Commonwheels Bicycle Collective promotes a better bicycling environment through advocacy and programs intended to empower the common rider.
We offer tool access for bicycle repairs and maintenance, multilingual resources, community events, and skillsharing workshops on cycling skills and bike maintenance.
We are managed by a small staff of volunteers and welcome participation from the entire community. We support any and all endeavors to further better bicycling, in Boston and beyond.

Hi. My name is Donna and I am the event coordinator for the Boston region of the non profit Ambassadors for Sustained Health (ASH for short). We are hosting an event to celebrate our 2nd anniversary as a group called “ASH BASH.” This event will be held on Saturday September 29 at the Refuge Cafe in Allston. We want to partner with common wheels and see if you could support us in any way. Donations can be made through financial gifts/gift cards for our raffle or even providing bicycle service for out daytime promotional period. If this is possible and if you have any questions, please contact me at (978) 886-1314 or donna@weareash.org. Thank you so much.

Hello,
The Boston Phoenix is putting out its annual “Bike Bible” edition on May 13th. The Bike Bible is the annual bicycle advocacy publication that is released in conjunction with MassBike’s Bay State Bike Week (May 14th-20th). This supplement is by far the most widely read and heavily promoted issue of its kind. We are the only publication in the city that markets to cycling enthusiasts.
The Bike Bible is the perfect opportunity for your business to reach cycling enthusiasts all over New England. The Phoenix Media Communication Group works very closely with bicycle shops to promote biking as a healthy and fun alternative to other less green modes of transportation.
While Facebook, Twitter, and word of mouth may be good ways to reach your fans, there is no substitute for The Phoenix’s one million weekly readers. Considering that 80% of our readers are between the ages of 22-44 and 65% have an average household income of over $75,000 per year, this is an unbeatable opportunity for you to promote your business. Market your company in the Bike Bible and you will successfully reach your ideal target audience. I am happy to discuss, negotiate and accommodate, pricing within your budget. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
